Human peripheral blood plasma used for researching the causes, diagnosis, supportive care and treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Collected from IRB-consented donors diagnosed with HIV.

There is no complete medical remedy for HIV or AIDS, however it can be possible to maintain the level of HIV in the body low with proper treatment. This samples have been used by researchers to make biomarkers for diagnostic development, preclinacal research validation and for analysis of drug toxicity and efficacy.

No pre-screening is done on fresh products, but donors are tested on day of collection for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1/2.

Storage: Store at −80 °C.
