The M9 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer is a double beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer with a variable spectral bandwidth for routine and advanced applications.

The VWR® M9 Double Beam Spectrophotometer is equipped with fixed 10 mm standard 1-cell holder. The large touch screen is easy to operate with functions for Photometry, Multi Wavelength (up to 20 wavelengths), Kinetics, Time Scan, Quantitation, DNA/Protein (Built-in seven measurement modes), Spectrum Scanning. The built-in software includes a useful 'Customized Method' feature which can let the user build your own method/formula inside. The VWR® M9 Spectrophotometer can be used in academic research, routine and advanced quality control, pharmaceutical, environmental, food and beverage industry and life science applications. The device can run as stand-alone instrument or PC-controlled via USB connecting to VWR® UV Studio Standard Software.



At the heart of the device is a long-life Xenon lamp which provides a wide wavelength range from 190 to 1100 nm. The Xenon lamp system does not require any warm-up time; the instrument can be used immediately upon power-up.



The units are delivered with four glass cuvettes and two quartz cuvettes. The device can be equipped with an optional Microvolume testbase for measurement of microvolume samples that can test maximum concentration upto 3500 ng/μl (dsDNA). Additionally, optional fibre detection accessory made of 316 stainless steel can enable the measurement of liquid samples in industrial settings.

Micro volume test base accessory, UMV05 micro volume test base, used for M6, M9. Can be installed in UV and test low volume sample directly. The micro volume test base is shipped with base, knob, test arm, and sample carrier.

Fiber detection accessory M9
Fiber detection accessory (fb10rs fiber detection accessory) used for M9. Can be installed in M9 and  used for any quick test for liquid. With our optical fiber accessory, this can be easily handled. The fiber detection accessory can be directly placed into the sample for measurement, avoiding the risk of exposure. The probe made of 316 stainless steel, can be used in most of the chemical and biological experiments. The fiber detection accessory M9 is shipped with: rod, fiber connector (input), fiber connector (output), hood, base, and fiber.
