L-Glutamic acid has been used as a reference material in the development of quantitative nuclear magnetic resonance technique to evaluate the purity of organic molecules.
An excitatory amino acid neurotransmitter that is an agonist at all subtypes of glutamate receptors (metabotropic, kainate, NMDA, and AMPA).
Standards: This certified reference material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034. This CRM is traceable to primary material from an NMI, e.g. NIST or NMIJ.
