PPARδ transcription factor assay kit
Lieferant: Cayman Chemical
A 96-well assay for measurement of PPARδ DNA binding activity.
- A sensitive, non-radioactive method of detecting PPARδ from whole cell lysates
- 96-well plate format replaces EMSAs
- Capture the transcription factor using a specific dsDNA sequence bound to the plate
- Detect the dsDNA-bound transcription factor with specific antibodies in an ELISA format
- Plate-based colorimetric measurement (405 to 420 nm)
- Nuclear extraction kit is available to aid in the isolation of nuclear and cytoplasmic fractions from cell lysates or tissue homogenates
PPARs are ligand-activated transcription factors belonging to the large superfamily of nuclear receptors. PPARα primarily activates genes encoding proteins involved in fatty acid oxidation, while PPARγ primarily activates genes directly involved in lipogenic pathway and insulin signaling. Members of the PPAR family are important direct targets of many antidiabetic and hypolipidemic drugs. Cayman’s PPAR Transcription Factor Assays are a non-radioactive, sensitive method for detecting specific transcription factor DNA binding activity in nuclear extracts and whole cell lysates.
Lieferumfang: Kit contains assay buffer, reagent A, positive control, binding buffer, primary antibody, wash buffer concentrate, polysorbate 20, competitor dsDNA, HRP conjugate, plate and cover sheet, developing and stop solution.
