Ryania
Lieferant: MP Biomedicals
Ryanodine is used experimentally in conjunction with Thapsigargin and other inhibitors of Calcium ATPase uptake of calcium into Sarcoplasmic Reticulum.
Regulates intracelluar calcium levels via receptor-linked Ca2+-release channels located on the sarcoplasmic reticulum of striated and cardiac muscle cells and on the endoplasmic reticulum of neurons, hepatocytes and other cell types. Ca2+ release via activated ryanodine receptors is a key event in excitation-contraction coupling in muscle.
Soluble in water, acetone, ether, chloroform, DMSO and ethanol; practically insoluble in benzene and petroleum ether. Store solutions aliquoted at -20 °C for up to 3 months.
