SDS-Page running gel buffers, 10X concentrate
Lieferant: Rockland Immunochemicals
SDS-PAGE, sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, describes a technique widely used in biochemistry to separate proteins according to their electrophoretic mobility (a function of the length of a polypeptide chain and its charge) and no other physical feature. SDS is an anionic detergent applied to protein sample to linearise proteins and to impart a negative charge to linearised proteins.
This product is a 10X concentrated stock solution and should be diluted appropriately with distilled, deionised water (or equivalent) to its final working concentration. No pH adjustment is required. 10X SDS-PAGE Running Buffer consists of 0,25 M Tris HCl, 1,92 M Glycine and 1% (w/v) Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS); pH 8,3. Meticulously prepared using ultra-pure reagents dissolved in highly polished pharmaceutical grade deionised water.
