Used as chemical actinometer based on photolysis of ferrioxalate in presence of polyoxometalate in aqueous solution.
Iron(III) perchlorate hydrate is a useful starting material for the synthesis of a tris-salicylate Fe(III) complex having bidentate chelating units and in photolysis of ferrioxalate in presence of polyoxometalate in aqueous solution. Also Useful as an oxidant for conducting polymer nanoparticles synthesised in ionic liquid by chemical polymerisation.
It is a Useful starting material for the synthesis of a tris-salicylate Fe(III) complex having bidentate chelating units which allow two coordination modes.
