Collagenase Type IV
Lieferant: STEMCELL Technologies
For digestion of native collagen fibrils.
- Maintain receptor integrity with a collagenase preparation low in tryptic activity
- Dissociate pancreatic islet cells effectively
Digest native collagen fibrils in connective tissues with Collagenase Type IV, sourced from Clostridium histolyticum. Collagenase preparations typically contain the activity of several proteases, including collagenase, caseinase, clostripain, and trypsin (Kessler and Yaron). Frequently used to dissociate pancreatic islets (Taguchi et al.), and in applications where maintenance of receptor integrity is required, Collagenase Type IV has low tryptic activity compared to other collagenase preparations.
