Vectashield® mounting medium

Beschreibung: Vectashield® Mounting Medium is a unique, stable formula for preserving fluorescence. It is superior to other anti-fading reagents or mounting media for fluorescence microscopy. Some agents retard the rate of fading, but their initial application gives a severe reduction in emission. Others give a good initial reading but bleach upon illumination. Vectashield® Mounting Medium combines both advantages into one product. It provides strong initial fluorescence and retards photobleaching over time. Vectashield® Mounting Medium is supplied in a bottle fitted with a cone-seal cap. A cap fitted with a drop dispenser pipette is also included. The cone-seal cap can be replaced with the drop dispenser cap for routine use and during storage. Mounted slides should be stored at 4 °C. The fluorescence will remain for many weeks.
